Longmorn
Longmorn stond al langer op de nominatie om in de top 10 te komen, hoewel de huidige standaard botteling van 16 jaar oud niet echt geweldig is wat betreft prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Daarentegen is de 12 jaar oude die jaarlijks wordt uitgebracht door Gordon and MacPhail wel prima op dit gebied. Er zijn maar weinig owners bottelingen van Longmorn en de hoog scorende whiskies in de lijst zijn allemaal van onafhankelijke bottelaars, waarbij met name Gordon and MacPhail voortdurend bijzonder goede bottelingen uitbrengt. De moeite van een zoektocht naar de perfecte whisky waard!
Longmorn (english)
Longmorn was already on the nomination to enter the top 10 although the current standard owners bottling of 16 years old is quite disappointing from a price/quality perspective. By comparison the annually released 12 years old edition by Gordon and MacPhail scores fine in this area. There are very few owners’ bottlings of Longmorn and the high scoring whiskies in the list are all from independent bottlers. Especially Gordon and MacPhail is continuously releasing very good bottling, which are well worth the quest to perfection!
